A Message From Our Membership Chair ...
Potential new members may attend two meetings as our guest at no charge on Friday Mornings at 7:00am at The Grand in Long Beach. This is a great way to see if this group is the right fit for you. It also allows us to determine if you fit one of our open categories. We have a strict policy of not letting more than one member in each “category” – so attending a Tippers meeting does not guarantee you will be eligible to join.
Please plan to stay a few minutes after your initial meeting so we can give you a brief overview of Tippers, including information about membership dues and attendance obligations. If no obvious conflict in your member category is observed at this time, the process of membership application can proceed. After attending two meetings, an application form and a check for $125.00 (application fee) is submitted to the Board of Directors for final approval. The Board meets monthly so this process may take a few weeks for completion – in the meantime you are encouraged to continue to attend meetings at the regular $20 guest fee.
Tippers is a wonderful group of community minded people and a great resource to find business partners and develop new contacts. We hope you look into Tippers and see if this is the business opportunity you have been waiting for.
Dues are currently $180 per quarter and cover your weekly breakfasts, mixers, and special events, including our "company picnic," and our wonderful annual Holiday Party!
